Holk Records First Career Hat Trick, No. 7 Bobcats Down Union

HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team opened the weekend with a dominant win, defeating Union 6-1 on Friday afternoon.
Tessa Holk set the tone early, scoring just 2:31 into the first period to give the Bobcats an early lead.
Emerson Jarvis capitalized on the power play, netting her fourth goal in the last five games.
Kahlen Lamarche once again showcased her scoring ability, recording her 13th goal of the season. Holk added her second of the night minutes later, sending Quinnipiac into the third with a four-goal lead.
Union broke through with a goal from Quinn Dunkle, but the Bobcats quickly responded.
Lamarche tallied her second of the game before Holk completed her first career hat trick to seal the 6-1 victory.
Goaltender Felicia Frank earned her 10th win of the season, finishing with 10 saves.
