HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer dropped a MAAC matchup vs. in-state foe Sacred Heart by the final score of 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats move to 1-2-0 in league play with the result.

Danny Istambouli, Ivan Morcillo and Zach Lorenz scored the Pioneers. Sacred Heart's first goal came less than five minutes into action, then the Pioneers scored two more times in the second half.

Goalkeeper Nickolas Cardona finished with five saves, a season-high mark for the senior.
Sivert Ryssdalsnes recorded three shots to lead the Bobcats.
Shots on goal finished 8-3 in favor of the Pioneers.
Quinnipiac registered three corner chances in total.
The Bobcats are now 5-1 over their last six against SHU. Quinnipiac had won the previous five meetings entering today's contest.
