NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis took home its first win of the spring and first at home with a 7-0 win over NJIT on Saturday evening.

The tandems of Vera Sekerina / Anagha Shankar and Caroline Schulson / Jordan Bradley secured the doubles points for the Bobcats. In singles, Willow Renton and Anagha Shankar won in three sets while Caitlin Flower, Vera Sekerina, Caroline Schulson, and Ella Lewis each won in straight sets.

NOTES

QU only dropped two sets in singles and one doubles match.
This is the Bobcats' first win over NJIT, falling in the only previous meeting 7-0 in 2022.

The Bobcats have two weeks off, returning to the court on Saturday, Feb. 8 to face URI in Rhode Island at 6:45 P.M. at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
