HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's soccer team dropped a non-conference matchup against St. Bonaventure, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon in Hamden.

João Pinto scored the Bobcats' lone goal in the 73^rd minute. QU moves to 1-3 so far in 2024.

The Bobcats generated six corner chances in total – four of which came in the second half.
João Pinto's goal is his first of the season. Alex Miller recorded his second assist of the year on the scoring play.
Miller played a corner kick chance into the box, then Pinto headed it into the back of the net to tie the game 1-1 at 72:56.
Karl Netzell made seven saves for QU.
SBU is now 1-1-0 against Quinnipiac in two meetings. The two teams played to a draw in 2008.

The Bobcats return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 10, playing host to in-state foe Central Connecticut State. Game time is set for 4:00 PM in Hamden.
