Bobcats Post Season-Best Total in Win at Azusa Pacific

AZUSA, Calif. — The Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling program posted a season-best 275.595 points in their first of two meets out west, defeating Azusa Pacific by 11.650 in a battle of preseason top five teams in California.
Highlighted by a 10.000 in the Open Pyramid event, the Bobcats improved their point total for the second consecutive meet as they get ready for a top 3 preseason battle on Sunday with No. 2 Oregon.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Bobcats started the meet strong with a 9.850 in compulsory pyramid and 9.950 in compulsory toss.
After a strong acro heat, Quinnipiac posted all three pyramid heats above 9.850, highlighted by the final heat, the open pyramid, which posted a perfect 10.000.
The last three solo passes in the tumbling event all posted 9.800 or better, with Tiffany Zieba closing it out with a 9.850 open pass.

The Bobcats trek to the Pacific Northwest, where preseason No. 2 Oregon awaits for a Saturday night affair. The meet is slated to begin at 7 p.m., Eastern time and can be seen live on Pac-12 Network Plus.
