Lospinoso Named League's Top Goalkeeper, Seven Bobcats Earn All-MAAC Honors

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac women's soccer goalkeeper Sofia Lospinoso earned her second straight MAAC Golden Glove award, as revealed by the league office on Monday, Nov. 4.
The Kenilworth, New Jersey native recorded 10 clean sheets in the regular season, which ranked first in the conference. Lospinoso allowed just ten goals this season in 17 games played for a save percentage of .841, the second highest mark in the MAAC. Lospinoso is the program leader in career shutouts with 31 and career wins with 51. The Graduate Student currently ranks fourth in the NCAA in clean sheets (11).
The Bobcats had seven players earn All-MAAC honors with two being named to the All-MAAC First Team, three on the All-MAAC Second Team, and two on the All-MAAC Third Team.

Quinnipiac placed 17 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
