HAMDEN, Conn. — Dario Cavada scored his second goal of the season, but Rider would answer five minutes later and that would be the scoring as the Quinnipiac men's soccer team drew 1-1 with the Broncs on Saturday afternoon at the QU Soccer Stadium.

The grad student finished off a great, fifth-year passing connection as Brage Aasen and Tomas Svecula connected 1-2 to play the Spainiard open and he blasted a right-footed shot past the Rider keeper to open the scoring.

Babacar Diene was the goalscorer for Rider, taking advantage of a Quinnipiac turnover and slotting it past Karl Netzell.

STATS AND NOTES

Cavada's second tally of the season puts him second on the team leaderboard behind Aasen. He also upped his point total to five on the year.
Aasen now has 11 points on the season, which leads all Bobcats. Svecula's fifth assist is the most on the squad.
Netzell finished the day with four saves as he lowered his goals-against average to 1.29 on the year.
Quinnipiac is now unbeaten in 10 of its last 11 MAAC contests, dating back to last season.
