Bobcats Down Boston College in Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer won its first game of the season, 3-1 over Boston College on Aug. 28th to move to 1-0-1.
Three different Bobcats scored to secure the win. Dario Cavada and Francisco Ferreira each scored their first goals as Bobcats. Brage Aasen also got in on the scoring.
Graduate forward Tomas Svecula dished two assists in the win.

- (14' – Quinnipiac 1, BC 0): Quinnipiac got on the board first, as Tomas Svecula found Terrance Wilder Jr. with a beautiful backheel pass and he shot it resulting in a point blank rebound for Dario Cavada, who buried it.
- (35' – Quinnipiac 2, BC 0): Dario Cavada raced down a ball on the sideline from Tomas Svecula, cut towards the middle and found Francisco Ferreira in the box. Ferreira took a touch and scored in the right corner of the net.
- (38' – Quinnipiac 2, BC 1): Xavier O'Neil found Jonathan Murphy who chipped it in for the goal.
- (50' – Quinnipiac 3, BC 1): Alex Miller received a pass in the middle and found Tomas Svecula in the box, he passed it across and found Brage Aasen for the goal.
