Cooke Scores Twice, Alves Tallies First Career Goal in Victory over Fordham

HAMDEN, Conn.— Quinnipiac women's soccer earned its fourth win of the 2022 season on Wednesday afternoon in Hamden, defeating Fordham by the final score of 3-1.
Rebecca Cooke had her second two-goal game and first year Madison Alves scored her first collegiate goal as a Bobcat. QU moves to 4-1-0 on the season.
Rebecca Cooke gave the Bobcats the lead in the 28th minute with assists from Ella Gagno and Emely van de Vliet, then scored again in the 76th minute with help from Olivia Kudrikow. Madison Alves scored just two minutes later in the 78th minute to secure the 3-1 victory over Fordham.

NOTES
- The Bobcats outshot the Rams in shots on goal 7-5.
- Alves played in her first game and had tallied her first collegiate goal.
- Cooke had her second two goal game in a row, scoring her 25th and 26th of her career.
- Gagno, van de Vilet, and Kudrikow all earned their first assists and points of the season.
- Sofia Lospinoso had four saves on the night.
