QU Extends MAAC Regular Season Winning Streak to 51 Games

GUILFORD, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis cruised to 7-0 win on Tuesday afternoon vs. Monmouth, improving to 2-0 in MAAC play with the victory.

The Bobcats won all three doubles matches, then took all three singles matches.

Quinnipiac is now a perfect 51-0 in MAAC regular season matches since joining the conference in 2013-14.

NOTES

Jordan Bradley and Dominique Vasile defeated Mills/Spurka (7-5) at No. 3 doubles to begin things for the Bobcats.
Kamilla Nella and Alessia Truden won at No. 1 doubles (6-2) to clinch the doubles point for the Bobcats.
Brittney Wilbur and Claire Koscielski won at No. 2 doubles (6-1). The duo has now earned four doubles wins in QU's last five matches.
Alessia Truden cruised to a two-set victory at No. 1 singles, her second straight singles victory this week in MAAC play.
Kamilla Nella battled to a three-set win at the No. 2 spot vs. Klapman, taking the third set 10-3.
Claire Koscielski went a perfect 4-0 over the first two MAAC matches. Koscielski won both a singles and doubles matchup on Saturday vs. Niagara, then did the same thing in today's win against Monmouth. The junior won 6-1, 6-2 over Spurka from the No. 3 spot.
Dominique Vasile earned her second singles win since March 16, topping Jamir (6-2, 6-0).
Jordan Bradley won 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 5 position, her fourth-straight singles victory.
Brittney Wilbur won at the No. 6 singles spot – winning her fifth match over QU's last six events. Wilbur has two singles wins, and two doubles wins to begin the MAAC schedule.
