Bobcats Fall to Unbeaten Crimson

HAMDEN, Conn. – Despite two tries by sophomore Kat Storey, Quinnipiac rugby dropped Saturday's NIRA matchup with Harvard, falling to the Crimson by a 60-24 final tally.

Hazel Bice and Maya Le Rossignol both recorded a try apiece in the loss, while Fodhla Ni Bhraonain was successful on one conversion kick.

The Crimson got on the board within the first minute with a try from junior Kim Hartung. Sophomore Brogan Mior added the conversion and scored a try of her own to give Harvard an early 12-0 lead. The Bobcats would answer to make it 12-5 on Storey's first try, but Harvard was able to extend the lead to 24-5 before the 20-minute mark of the half. Quinnipiac outscored Harvard 12-7 over the last 22 minutes of the first half.
