Men's Tennis Cruises Past Siena on Senior Day

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis earned its third MAAC win of the season on Saturday, topping Siena by the final score of 5-2 on Senior Day in Hamden.

With the win, the Bobcats move to 7-10 (3-0 MAAC) so far this season. Freddie Zaretsky, Hielke Moore, Patrick Cachapero and Austin Yannone all earned both a singles and doubles win to lead the way for the Bobcats.

NOTES

Freddie Zaretsky improved to 8-14 in singles matches this year, as he topped Siena's Baines in the final singles match to finish.
Hielke Moore is now 13-10 in singles play, earning a No. 4 singles match win 6-3, 6-3.
Patrick Cachapero won his 10^th singles match of 2018-19, earning a 6-1, 6-2 win over Menoza.
Austin Yannone improved to 10-6 in singles play, topping Kirkwood in No. 6 singles play.
Martinovic and Stern now have seven total victories as a duo, Cachapero and Moore are 9-2 as a pair, and Zaretsky and Yannone have five doubles victories.
