AMHERRST, Mass. – Quinnipiac women's tennis dropped a non-conference match at UMass, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon from the Bay Road Club. With the loss, the Bobcats drop to 3-5 on the season (2-0 MAAC).

Layla Rodriguez and Proyfon Lohaphaisan both battled lengthy first sets in No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively – as both fell just short of picking up the singles point.

Courtney Nash has won two singles contests this spring for the Bobcats – the most on the team.
Dominique Vasile (No. 1), Jennifer Lu (No. 2), Kamilla Nella (No. 3) and Layla Rodriguez (No. 5) have all each won one singles contest since opening the spring.
