
Men's Cross Country Competes at NCAA Northeast Regionals

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The men's cross country team competed in the final meet of the season at the 2019 NCAA Northeast Regional. Sophomore Cam Starr finished first for the Bobcats in 140th position with a time of 31:18.8 in the men's 10k race. Harvard took first overall in team points, followed by Syracuse and Iona. Hofstra's Alex Masai took first overall with a time of 28:42.3. The University of Buffalo hosted the meet at the Audubon Golf Course in Amherst, N.Y.

- First-year Dylan Manning finished second for the Bobcats in 165th place with a time of 31:52.9.
- Sophomore Jack Hilton recorded a time of 32:19.2 in 183rd place.
- In 196th place, sophomore Max Stenslie tallied a time of 32:32.0.
- First-year Matthew Rene recorded a time of 33:03.7 in 210th place.
- Senior Michael Kiernan recorded a tim eof 33:32.7 in 222nd place in his final career meet.
- Junior Jeff Venter finished in 243rd with a time of 35:18.9.
