Bobcats Wrap Up Yale Intercollegiate in 7th Place

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac freshman Kaylee Sakoda continued her tremendous debut season with a ninth-place finish at this weekend's Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate. The Cypress, California native shot 71-73-74 for a 54-hole score of +5.

FINAL ROUND SCORES

Sakoda tallied ten birdies on the weekend, marking the second time in three tournaments that the rookie has played ten holes under par.
Fellow freshman Leeyen Peralta finished her weekend with a +6, 77, and birdied the par three fifth hole for the second straight day.
Junior Queenie Lai posted two birdies and ten pars on her way to a final round 77 (+6).
Senior Alexandra Sazhin, the program's all-time leader in career birdies, added two more to her total and finished the tournament at +19 after a final round 77.
Elena Lopez shot an 83 in her final round after a solid 76 in round two.
Elena Ybarra, playing as an individual golfer, shot sub-80 for the second time this weekend as she finished with a +8, 79. Fellow individual competitors Darby Lillibridge and Amanda Tully finished the tournament with scores of 81 and 83, respectively.
