
Men's Cross Country Takes 19th at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country team took 19th of 24 teams (484 points) at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19. The top runner for Quinnipiac was junior Jeff Venter, who took 76th place in the 8k race (25:18.8).
Twenty-four schools and over 200 athletes competed in the Princeton Invitational. Stony Brook took first overall in the men's 8k race, with UConn and La Salle coming in second and third, respectively.

The men's cross country team will compete at Central Connecticut State University for the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday, Oct. 25.

- In 80th place, freshman Dylan Manning recorded a time of 25:22.8.
- Sophomore Cam Starr took 127th place with a time of 25:50.2.
- In 131st, sophomore Jack Hilton tallied a time of 25:52.3.
- Freshman Matthew Rene took 150th with a time of 26:07.3.
- Sophomore Matthew Burke finished in 178th place with a time of 26:23.4.
- Senior Matthew Allen finished in 208th place (27:09.5).
- Sophomore Max Stenslie recorded a time of 27:45.4 in 223rd.
