NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Patrick Cachapero and Alester Magalit picked up a doubles win for the Bobcats, as Quinnipiac men's tennis dropped a non-conference match vs. Yale, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon in New Haven.

- The Bobcats were tabbed second in the 2019 MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference office on Thursday, Jan. 17.
- The Bobcats, who received one first place vote in the poll, earned 42 total points. Quinnipiac finished just behind Monmouth, who earned 48 total points in the poll. Marist finished third, Fairfield fourth and Siena fifth in the preseason vote.
- Freshman Aleksa Martinovic has been named MAAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
- Martinovic earned the program's lone singles win of the week on Saturday vs. Binghamton at the North Haven Raquet Club.
- He now has nine singles wins in 2018-19, earning the Bobcats' first singles win of the spring season. The freshman downed freshman Dylan Friedman of Binghamton (6-3) in the second singles contest of the night to finish.
- Quinnipiac men's tennis returns to action on Saturday, Jan 26, traveling to Yale to square off with the Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. in New Haven.
