CAMBRIDGE, Mass. .- The Quinnipiac women's tennis team fell on the road 6-1 to Ivy League opponent Harvard on Sunday at the Murr Center Tennis Courts, less than a day after picking up a home MAAC win over Niagara. Freshman Courtney Nash provided the point for the Bobcats with a win at No. 6 singles

NOTES:

The Bobcats earned a 6-1 win over Niagara yesterday evening, which finished after 8 p.m., and then traveled to Harvard this morning for a tough battle with the Crimson.
Quinnipiac put up a tough fight in doubles, before falling on all three courts. The No. 1 doubles team of junior Jennifer Lu and sophomore Layla Rodriguez had the closest battle, falling 6-4.
Freshman Courtney Nash earned the win at No. 6 singles after dropping the first set 6-4. She bounced back to take the second set 6-2 and then earned a 10-8 win in the third-set tiebreaker.
Rodriguez had a close battle at No. 4 singles, falling on the short end of a 6-3, 7-5 decision.
Junior Proyfon Lohapaisan (96 wins) and Lu (95 wins) are both still closing in on 100 career victories.
