QU Men's Tennis Completes First Day at ITA Regionals

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - Quinnipiac men's tennis team completed their first day day at the ITA Regionals in New Haven, Connecticut Thursday. Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New Jersey) advanced to the second round of the Main Singles Draw while Axel Stern (Tustin, Calfornia) and Kyle Alper (Dix Hills, New York) advanced to the second round of the Main Doubles Draw.
BOBCATS NOTES:
Rozenstein obtained a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory over Cimrman in the opening round of the ITA Main Singles Draw.
He will play the second round tomorrow against Matheson from Columbia University at 12:00 PM.
Stern and Alper combined for 8-7(4) victory over Army to advanced to the second round of the Main Draw Doubles.
Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) lost 6-2, 6-2 in the opening round of the Main Draw Singles.
Zaretsky and Rozenstein dropped a tough matchup against in-state foe Yale, 8-3.
