POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—The Quinnipiac softball team lost game one of their doubleheader against Marist, 8-0 in six innings. The Bobcats will start their second matchup starting a 4 p.m.

Game one
Second Inning-

Marist scored their first run in the second inning, as M. Pleasants homered to center field.

Third Inning-

The Red Foxes added four more runs to the board in the third inning off two singles and a two-run homer.

Sixth Inning-

Marist's third homerun of the day brought in two runs to extend their lead to seven.
The Red Foxes ended the game in six innings on a one-run single.

First Inning-

The Red Foxes scored, unearned in the first inning, as Pusey stole second and advanced home on throwing errors by the outfield.

Third Inning-

M. Davis scored on a single to short by S. Freeland to give Marist a 2-0 lead heading into the fourth inning.

The Red Foxes scored six runs on four singles and a wild pitch to bring the final score to 8-0 Marist.
